For the past month I've been redesigning my site. It's the reason behind my mostly radio silence. I've been disliking the old version for a while. I made it when I was 16 and my taste has changed a bit. I've also gotten much better at building sites, wayyy better. Comparing the source code between the new and old homepage is truly night and day.

I also found that the website was a nightmare when it came to loading times due to how many images where cramped into each page... I mean the fans on my older pc would kick into action and there would be a CPU usage spike. So on the redesign I went with something much simpler and organized. I would say I'm pretty content with how it turned out.

This wasn't the first time I tried to redesign the site, I never finished those previous versions due to me not liking them very much. I had a fun time remaking the layout and think it reflects my current taste. I took majority of my inspo from older JP and animu realted sites.

I will continue to tweak other sections of the site one by one, I think the next up is shrines. I want to rewrite some of the old content on there since it's poorly written and honestly a lot babble. I would like to think I've matured as a writer. Uhm other than that the tezuka shrine is still being done but due to me doing this on a whim it was put on the backburner. It's now resuming active development!

Also please email me if you find anything broken related to the new design. I decided to remove the chatbox for now, BUT if you go onto the old homepage you can still message there. I will probably add it back eventually, I just dont know where...
